Do you believe in unicorns?

You can't believe everything you see, right?
Myths can be fun to entertain us, but what happens if we believe what isn't true?

Which of the following do you believe?

A. All financial advisors wear suits.
B. All financial advisors work out of an office with a desk.
C. All financial advisors sell insurance or sell stocks for commission.
D. If the guy below is a financial advisor, he sure seems happy.

Most people hold on to a “myth” or two that keep them from obtaining their desired result.

(You know what I mean…)

You might believe myths about how the stock market works, how the wealthy don’t pay taxes, or that insurance salespeople are financial advisors….

The power of these “myths” in your mind could be the difference between you believing what is true or false about something and the results you get from that decision!

After 20 years in financial services I’ve heard my fair share of myths about financial advisors and financial advice and I’d like to share with you the TRUTH.

So that you don’t make some of the costly mistakes associated with believing the wrong thing!

There’s a saying that goes…

“It ain’t what you don’t know that gets you into trouble.  It’s what you know for sure that just ain’t so.”
